Pitch Markets and Events UK delivers a programme of seasonal markets at Charlton House & Gardens in south-east London.

About Charlton House & Gardens
Charlton House is a Grade I-listed Jacobean manor house built between 1607 and 1612 for Sir Adam Newton, who was tutor to Henry, Prince of Wales.
More than 400 years later, the house remains an important heritage attraction and community venue. Its historic architecture, gardens and grounds create a distinctive setting for markets, exhibitions, tours and community activities.
The market programme gives visitors another reason to discover Charlton House while supporting independent traders and local businesses.

October: Horn Fair
Sunday 18 October 2026, 11:00am–4:00pm
A community and artisan market featuring handmade crafts, artwork, prints, jewellery, gifts, homeware, food and drink, sustainable products, independent businesses and local organisations.
December: Christmas Market
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2026, 11:00am–4:00pm
A two-day festive market featuring handmade Christmas gifts, decorations, jewellery, art, artisan food and drink, cakes, confectionery, seasonal treats and independent brands.

Getting to Charlton House
By train
The nearest mainline railway station is Charlton Station, London, SE7 7QT.
Charlton House is approximately 0.6 miles from the station, which is around a 14-minute walk via Charlton Church Lane. The route towards the house is uphill, so visitors should allow additional time if necessary.
By bus
Bus routes serving stops close to Charlton House include the 53, 54, 380, 422 and 486.
Visitors travelling from Charlton Station can also use a connecting local bus towards Charlton House or St Luke’s Church.
By car
On-site parking is limited. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport where practical and should check current parking arrangements before travelling.
